Wheels and Heels: The Big Noise Around Little Toys

Love toys? Love art? Well, your kids do too. Bring them out to the Norton Museum in West Palm Beach to enjoy their toy car and doll exhibit. Take a trip down Nostalgia lane with the kids and show them how mom, dad, grandma and grandpa used to play! The exhibition takes a playful look at two iconic toys – the miniature car, epitomized by Matchbox and Hot Wheels brands, and the "teenage doll," the most famous of which is Barbie. Let the kids bring a couple of their favorite pieces to compare and contrast current editions with those of yesteryear! Come out on a Thursday (through September 4 for FL residents) and get in for half price. Come for the toy exhibit with its toys, accessories, play sets, vintage advertisements, design drawings, television commercials, marketing publications, as well as an interactive playroom and stay for the art and great food!
