Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival
The 15th Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in Florida will be held in the city of Sunrise at Markham Park. This all day event on November 13, 2016 will feature a mix of professional chefs and aspiring amateurs, foodies, music lovers, dance aficionados, and cultural enthusiasts in the most anticipated event of the year! Watch as Chefs of all distinction compete for cash and the coveted Dutch Pot Trophy in the Publix Jerk Cook-off. Local celebrities will also compete against each other in a lively Quick Fire Contest while wine experts pair spicy Jerk dishes with fine wine.
FOOD COURT
Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork, Jerk Lobster, Jerk Shrimp, Jerk Corn, Jerk Patties, Jerk Ice Cream, Everything Jerk! Over 30 vendors offering tasty cuisine to satisfy every taste bud.
PUBLIX CULINARY PAVILION
Celebrities such as Local 10 TV personalities Todd Tongen, Miss Jamaica World Ashlie Barrett compete in a lively Quick Fire Contest all hosted by Chef Irie Spice.
GRACE KITCHEN
Get tips on how to create many tasty Jerk dishes using Grace products from Chef Mazie Miller, host of Cooking With Grace. A number of top chefs will be on hand to demonstrate their culinary skills with finger-licking creations. Sample these tasty bites and take home some Grace products to try in your kitchen.
WESTERN UNION CULTURAL STAGE
Melo Groove Steel Orchestra, Carib Isles Dance Group , Jamaican Folklorist Dr. Sue, the Bahamas Junkanoo Revue.
Join in some interactive and educational performances from traditional Carribbean folk dances to the latest dance moves. Enjoy poetry reading, storytelling, and creative fashions. You may see a famous figure from history, a popular comedian or an upcoming star who takes your breath away. Two cultural stages provide non-stop entertainment for every member of the family. Performances start at noon.
MAIN STAGE
As the sun goes down, top international reggae and soca acts will begin to perform. Hardcore Movement and guest DJs provide the music between sets with impromptu contests, lots of giveaways by MCs. This may not be the best place for small children.

For the Grown Folks, there is the PARTY PAVILLION: It’s a party within a party. Some of the hottest DJs and Selectors spin the latest hits, creating a club setting for the young and the young at heart. From dancehall anthems to classic beats, this is the place to get your groove on.
KID ZONE
Rides, Slides, Face Painting, Cotton Candy, Ice Cream and everything the kids need to have fun.
TICKETS
Once tickets are on sale, there are several ways to purchase your tickets to the Festival, the most convenient being online through their website. Selected Caribbean outlets in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties will also offer Advance general admission tickets up until the day before the festival. Day of Event tickets will be available at the gate. Gates open at 10:00 am.
