Sea Fest for Kids

Sea Fest for Kids at the Jupiter Lighthouse & Museum celebrates all things Maritime, Music and Fun.  Enjoy a family day on the waterfront with sea-inspired education & adventures for kids to celebrate Jupiter’s coastal heritage and history. Meet lively characters from Jupiter’s past, a real pirate or two, and our favorite children’s book authors. Mermaid and pirate costumes are welcome. An unforgettable day filled with live music, kid-friendly food and special ice cream treats at your favorite hometown Lighthouse.

Pajama Jams Story Time

A rockin' good time with stories, music and pretend play; all in the comfort of your favorite pajamas. Each month features a different theme, with fingerplays, puppets, music and stories. So get up, roll out of bed, and join Miss Mij in her funny jammies and slippers for something new each month. Max-20

Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration in Wellington is a wonderful way to teach the kids about composting, recycling, reusing and more.  Visit with local earth-friendly vendors and enjoy local business giveaways.  Live music will keep you and your family entertained. Loxahatchee By Night

Loxahatchee by Night Campfires are back at the River Center! Join in this season for some s'more fun with The River Center's exciting campfire activities. They will be kicking off their first event on Friday, October 21st from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm with a "Haunted Pirate Ship" themed campfire. This family friendly event will include ghostly activities, a haunted hayride, and of course s'mores! Costumes are welcome and encouraged for this event.

 

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo in Davie will feature over 250 displays and will take place down Orange Drive from Davie Rd. west to SW 66th Terrace.  This portion of Orange Drive will be closed off during the festival. Free activities for both days include arts & crafts show, musical entertainment, youth performers, animal farm, western displays, green product displays , and wildlife shows.

Kids Night at the Museum YAA

Children ages 5-12 can enjoy a night at the Young at Art Museum in Davie while the parents escape for some time together.  It's a win-win scenario: Parents enjoy a night on the town while the kids have a blast with exhibit exploration, themed art activities, pizza, popcorn and a feature film.  Bring your favorite pillow or blanket and wear your coolest PJs!   The event runs from 6pm to 11pm and costs $35 per night for Members and $40 per night for Non-Members.

Big Toy and Truck Extravaganza

Like big trucks and you can not lie?  Maybe your kids do too.  Bring them out to Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale for this fun event!  The Big Toy and Truck Extravaganza will allow kids a chance to get up close and personal to some of the large vehicles they may see on the streets. This event will be located in the field closest to the War Memorial Auditorium and next to the Parker Playhouse.  Bring your cameras and hats (to spare you from the S. Florida sun) and enjoy a few hours of fun together!
