Annual Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival
Now in its fifth year, the 2016 Delray Beach Wine & Seafood Festival will offer visitors the opportunity to stroll the palm tree lined streets of Delray while enjoying a great glass of wine or a plate of delectable seafood. The Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce continues its’ decades long tradition of producing unique and entertaining street festivals. To bring us closer to the sea, the festival was moved to A1A at the foot of Atlantic Avenue directly in front of Boston’s on the Beach, Café Luna Rosa and the Marriott hotel.

AD Barnes Spooky Trail
A.D. Barnes Park in Miami-Dade county will be offering a weekend of creepy fun at their A.D. Barnes Spooky Trail event. The county invites your family to a SPOOK-TACULAR time! This Halloween-themed event will feature trick or treating, a Bring-Your-Own-Pumpkin carving station, and a haunted walk through the park's trail. Please bring comfortable closed-toe shoes, insect repellent, and a flashlight. This promises to be loads of fun for everyone! Don't forget your pumpkin!

Bullseye Archery Skills Course
Learn something about Archery or hone your existing skills at this program for people age 9 and up. Get an in-depth archery experience during this 6 session program (Bullseye! Archery Skills Course) at Arch Creek Park EcoCenter in Miami-Dade county. Over the course of the program you will learn different archery styles, shoot at different types of targets, and participate in challenges with increasing difficulty to truly hone your skills as an archer.

Sadowski Park Canoe tour
Bring the family out into Nature and explore the indigenous flora & fauna of Miami Dade county. Take a leisurely paddle down the C-100 canal as you canoe your way from Bill Sadowski Park to Coral Reef Park and back. Many interesting things can be seen along the way such as exotic fish, hunting osprey, and various other animals along this blue stretch and its banks. This trip meets at the Bill Sadowski Park EcoCenter; please bring plenty of drinking water (at least one quart), closed-toe shoes, and protection from the sun.

Annual Halloween Fall Fest
The 6th Annual Halloween Fall Fest, hosted by the Delray Beach Historical Society, is a favorite local family-friendly event. The event is FREE TO THE COMMUNITY; donations are encouraged. Spooky Pumpkin Patch, Costume Contest, History Exhibits, Ghost Stories & Fortune Teller, Popcorn & Cider Bar, Family Portraits, Games & Crafts, OUTDOOR MOVIE: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" ... and our famous BIG BAKE SALE!

Canyon Movie Night
Enjoy a free movie and evening out at Canyon Town Center in western Boynton Beach, Palm Beach county. Bring snacks, blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy different family-friendly movie choices under the stars. If the kids like to romp around (or in case the movie isn't engaging them), bring swimwear and a change of clothes so kids can play in the splash circle. Movies in September start at 7:30pm and October to December movies begin at 7:00 p.m. when it gets dark earlier.

Science Meets Art
Science Meets Art at Pérez Art Museum Miami will be held Saturday, September 12 from 1-4 pm. This free event hopes to introduce patrons of the Frost Museum of Science to their new location near the Perez Art Museum on the Bay. PAMM and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum will team up to offer a family-friendly day of creative experimentation. This will take place as part of the PAMM Free Second Saturday ongoing series.
