Meet the Orchestra

Body

The Symphonia Boca Raton hosts a marvelous event for your music lover at the St. Andrews School just a few times a year.  The Symphonia is a world class chamber orchestra who, in addition ot performing, makes a great effort to reach out to children in the community to inspire a love a music within them. The Meet the Orchestra event is FREE for children (adults cost $5) and allows them to get up close and personal with the musicians and their instruments.

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo

Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo in Davie will feature over 250 displays and will take place down Orange Drive from Davie Rd. west to SW 66th Terrace.  This portion of Orange Drive will be closed off during the festival. Free activities for both days include arts & crafts show, musical entertainment, youth performers, animal farm, western displays, green product displays , and wildlife shows.

Annual Christmas Near The Beach

The 9th Annual Christmas Near The Beach is set for Dec. 12, 2015 at the Arts Park @ Young Circle in Hollywood, FL.  This event is FREE!  St. Nick is arriving in style on a classic car led by the Florida Sunshine Marching band. “I look forward to this event every year! Fort Lauderdale Air Show

The Fort Lauderdale Air Show is back!  See amazing aerial acrobatics and practcially feel the aircraft as they roar past.  World class Fort Lauderdale beach will be the backdrop for this fantastic show.   Options for viewing the show include:  Drop Zone Beach and the VIP Flight Line Club both on the "50-yard line".  The seating options sold by the show guarantee the best spots for viewing the show.  The Flight Line Club seats include drinks and lunch as well as box seating.

Annual Santa on the Beach

Make your trip to the beach and Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale more festive!  Don't miss the Santa on the Beach motorcade as it makes it's way down Las Olas and over to Fort Lauderdale Beach Park giving out candy canes!  Kids and adults alike will love getting sweet treats from our special guest from the North Pole.  Grab your canes then grab some rays along the shore for a fun family outing!

Light Up Sistrunk

The City of Fort Lauderdale will Light Up Sistrunk with this special event featuring a toy give-away, KIDS ZONE, and so much more.  Holiday food and family entertainment will make this an evening to remember.  Watch as a giant holiday tree is illuminated and snag some candid shots with Santa!  Bounce houses, game trucks and REAL SNOW will keep the kids happy and occupied.

Children's Museum Holiday Extravaganza

The Children's Museum in Boca Raton would like to celebrate the Holidays with your family at their annual Holiday Extravaganza.  Join in on games and crafts while enjoying all that the museum has to offer.  There will be Hanukkah surprises and pictures with Santa. Get the little ones' faces painted and enjoy special holiday drinks and food. This event and attraction are best suited to smaller children.

Light Up the Beach

Light Up the Beach in Fort Lauderdale is an event on Wednesday, November 22 from 5:30 - 09:00 p.m. at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. 

Welcome Olas the Giant Beach Snowman back to Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, November 22 at our annual Light Up the Beach celebration!  The free event takes place from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm at A1A and Las Olas and includes: 

Kids Night at the Museum YAA

Children ages 5-12 can enjoy a night at the Young at Art Museum in Davie while the parents escape for some time together.  It's a win-win scenario: Parents enjoy a night on the town while the kids have a blast with exhibit exploration, themed art activities, pizza, popcorn and a feature film.  Bring your favorite pillow or blanket and wear your coolest PJs!   The event runs from 6pm to 11pm and costs $35 per night for Members and $40 per night for Non-Members.

Delray Beach Open

The Delray Beach Open, the world’s only 10-day tennis event consisting of an ATP Champions Tours event (Feb. 17-26, 2017), is televised in the U.S. and 120-plus countries internationally.  The tournament welcomes more than 50,000 spectators to enjoy the tennis plus live music and artisans, on-site dining and drinking, interactive exhibits, shopping and 10+ hospitality and special events.  Delray Beach Open’s ATP World Tour event is one of only 11 ATP events in the U.S.
