A 26 acre wetlands park, Peaceful Waters Sanctuary lives up to its name, allowing you to walk in a tranquil paradise. There are 1,500 feet of raised walkways that carry you through the park, bringing you right into the heart of the wildlife habitat. There is also a trail that goes around the wetlands, complete with benches to sit on.

Scott's Place Playground

Scott's Place Playground was named after a six year old boy named Scott Williamson who sadly passed away due to cerebral palsy. The construction of this park was funded by a 250,000 dollar donation made by Del and Barbara Williamson after they lost their six year old son, Scott. Del and Barbara Williamson donated the money for this park with the dream that disabled children, like their son, would be able to come and enjoy the playground as any other child would.

Tiger Shark Cove

Tiger Shark Cove in Wellington, Florida is a very unique and interesting park to visit. This park, which is located in Palm Beach County, was created based off of the ideas of local children and designed by village residents. The construction of the park was funded by private donations and was built by volunteers. The construction and ideas that this park was built on make it a great place to visit for local residents and new comers looking for fun places to bring their kids.

Village Park

There's loads of fun to be had at Village Park in Wellington.  With two large gymnasiums, Village park is the perfect place to take your entire family for a day of fun and some fitness. Talk about a place to get in shape and get active! There are so many things you can do here. With five whole soccer fields, your kids and you could run laps, practice some foot work, or even play a friendly match, kids against adults of course!

Wellington Community Center

The Wellington Community Center is located in a large municipal complex that includes several gems in the Wellington community.  Found in the same area are the city hall building, the wonderful 911 tribute with a piece of the World Trade Center on display, Scotts barrier free playground, the amphitheater and more.  The center itself consists of a large, multi-use facility with over 28,000 square feet.  Residents can rent the facility, which has a lovely open air patio, for their own private functions like baby showers or birthdays.
