Hampton Pines Park

Hampton Pines Park in North Lauderdale is a municipal park off McNab Road just west of Rock Island Road in Broward county.  The park features walking and biking trails as well as an area for volleyball.  The family can enjoy a playground and picnic area or take a ride on paddleboats on the lake.  Bring your fishing rods and fishing liscense to enjoy fishing as well.  The entrance is off Hampton Road and the dock is nearby.

Jerry Resnick Aquatic Center

 The Jerry Resnick Aquatic Center is a 13-acre recreational facility located in North Lauderdale FL, at 701 SW 71st Avenue. The park consists of a junior Olympic size pool, a water playground, and a two tube water slide. The facility is open from March to October and is heated during the fall and spring months. 

Richard D. Petrillo Park

The park features five acres of open green space, with a scattering of trees. It is a wonderful place to wile away an afternoon in the sun. Fern Forest

The Fern Forest Nature Center in Coconut Creek is the last remnant of what used to be a Cypress Creek flood-way and Hammock. The 247.1-acrewilderness land is full of diverse plant communities all influenced by different soil types, differences in elevation and bedrock exposure as well as human activities. In 1979, the land was purchased by Broward County from the Palm Aire Development Corporation, as a new center aimed at preserving the unique botanical features of the site.

Sunrise Civic Center and Aquatic Complex

The Sunrise Civic Center and Aquatic Complex was established in 1998. This 80,000 sq. ft. facility has a theatre, art gallery, banquet hall, athletic club and an aquatics center. This great community treasure offers several fun filled activities for all ages throughout the year.

Sportsplex at Coral Springs

The Coral Springs Sportsplex is located between Royal Palm Boulevard and Sample Road in northern Broward county.  This  180.8 acre park includes a world class Aquatic Complex, the Tennis Center of Coral Springs, Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital, Dr. Steven G. Paul Dog Park and typical park amenities as well.  Picnic tables, a walking/jogging trail, playground and meeting rooms are also available for use.  

Betti Stradling Memorial Park

Betti Stradling Memorial Park in Coral Springs is a wonderful place where kids can be themselves and enjoy playing baseball and other games on the playground. What you will love most about the place is the fact that it has lots of shade on the playground, nice basketball courts, and a skate park with ramps. If you enjoy playing beach volleyball, you can enjoy playing on a sand volleyball court. This is a wonderful place for kids and families, and parents can jog or walk while the kids enjoy their ball games.

Central Broward Regional Park was built in response to the need for more recreational opportunities in Central Broward.  This 110-acre facility was built to serve 7 central Broward cities:  Lauderhill, Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, Plantation, Sunrise, and Wilton Manors. 

Plantation Woods park

Plantation Woods Park is located in Plantation, FL. The park was designed by a man of the name David Serrano, who constructed the front entrance, squirrel statues, and log benches that you can see throughout the park. The park consists of three different playgrounds corresponding to age.  Art can be found throughout the play space.
