Community Park Wellington, located at South Shore Boulevard just after Pierson Road, offers relaxation and fun to both the old and the young in the family. Visit the park at Johns St and enjoy a wealth of amenities which include lighted ball diamonds that give the park an elegant look, find batting cages where families can play softball, cricket and baseball, have fun in tennis and basketball courts, horseshoe pits for your kids to play, soccer fields, volleyball courts with sand, family picnic pavilions, a wooded boardwalk 2 miles long and playground areas for the young and the old alike with equipment supplies to fit all ages.

The Community Park in Wellington has grass areas well shaded with trees including the memorial tree area where a variety of species are found for family viewing.

Visitors can book pavilions for family events like reunions or parties. The pavilions are located adjacent to playgrounds and resting grassy areas. 

The park offers different programs throughout the year including Wellington Kids Triathlon, open-play and open-gym programs, athletic, aquatic and tennis programs among others. Registration for any of the above programs is done online, in-person or through fax. The park also holds a number of special events throughout the year. Sponsors can register for special events including the egg hunt, father-daughter dance, Earth Day, Memorial Day, Earth Peace Day, Veterans Day and fall festival, celebration for July 4th, 9/11 remembrance event and Wellington amphitheater events among others.

The Winter-Spring holiday is a busy time in Community Park Wellington with a horde of activities for families. Toddlers are entertained with programs like hip-hop dance, tumble kids kamp, tumble kids and tumble tots sessions. The teens and youth also enjoy similar programs in addition to yoga and yogilates, pilates PM and pilates AM and kindersports. The adults get to enjoy youth programs while the senior enjoy programs like bingo, book reviews, needlecraft, Rummikub and senior aerobics among others.
