Calm and beautiful Pinecrest Gardens in Miami Florida is a delight of tropical plants, cypress and hardwoods in an atmosphere of caves, sinkholes, streams and other native Florida features. Thousands of exotic plants make the garden and landscape a stunning place to spend the day. There are always activities for the whole family to enjoy. The Garden is amazing for kids with attractions built just for them such as the Splash N Play water feature, petting zoo, chess and checker boards, dominos, fish feeding, flashlight tours, and of course a playground. The garden is filled with beautiful music during a concert. You can watch a movie or a play.  Pinecrest Gardens has festivals and events throughout the year for friends and family to enjoy. On Sunday’s there is a Farmer’s Market, which was voted “Best Farmer’s Market in Miami”.  The farmer's market features fresh organic produce, artesian bakers, gourmet specialties, coffees, and fresh juices.

If you are the type of person that loves to educate yourself there are classes offered at the Garden, such as Improve Yourself, Horticulture Series, A Sensory Friendly Experience, you can even put your film making skills to the test with a Pollution Solution Video Contest.  Let’s not forget the kids who would have a blast at the Nature Film Nights, Creative Crafts, and attending educational field trips. If you need a beautiful place for a wedding, Pinecrest Gardens should top your list with breathtaking scenery the wedding goers will talk about for years after, and the couple getting married will fall in love with it instantly. Birthday parties, formal outdoor events, meetings and indoor events are also hosted at Pinecrest.  Let's not forget the Banyan Bowl an outdoor amphitheater with amazing acoustics and over five hundred seats. Parking is free at Pinecrest Gardens, fee for admission (General Admission $5).

Garden Features:

* Splash Park- A water playground designed for kids ages 2-12. It is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to one hour prior  to the park's closing. The admission fee for this activity is $3.00 per child.

* Petting Zoo- Visitors will get a chance to interact with friendly animals. Open daily at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Admission to the petting zoo is included in the admission price.

* Botanical Gardens- Visitors will have the opportunity to discover plants from around the world 

* Feed the Fish- The waterways throughout provide an opportunity to feed fish. Fish food is sold at the Splash 'N Play attendant stand.

*Movie Nights and Flashlight Tours- Every Friday families can start their night with a "flashlight tour" that ends with a featured child friendly movie.
