If you have ever wanted to see all of the under-water splendor that is Key West but have not been comfortable with the idea of snorkelling or scuba diving, then SNUBA may be an option for you.  There is no experience necessary nor dive certification required.  All equipment and instruction is provided by Snuba Key West.  There is a short 15-20 minute instruction during every trip to orient you to the process of Snuba diving.  The minimum age for participation is 8 years of age and participants must know how to swim.  With the non-restrictive Snuba gear, your family can glide through schools of tropical fish and explore underwater coral wonderlands.  

Snuba has been available in Key West since 1999 so your family can rest assured that there is 15 years of local expertise.  This company has been contracted by several major cruiselines to offer their Snuba activity as excursions for their clients and has won awards through Trip Advisor.  Passengers are transported in comfort on their 33 foot luxury catamaran and served cold drinks as refreshments.  Descend into the waters easily with their easy swim platform and relax in either the sun & shade while not in the water.  The boat also is equipped with a sizeable bathroom and a fresh-water shower.  Make sure to bring ample sunscreen so you can reapply after you've gotten in the water and a towel.  Tours operate three times daily: 9am and 1pm.  Be sure to ask them about their 4pm Key West Cocktail Cruise! Times may vary in the winter when sunset comes earlier.  Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour time in order to reserve your spot.  The tour costs vary, check with provider.
